I wanted to rave about this new wine and chocolate cafe in Wicker Park. I am the ultimate wine and dessert girl and someone referred to to this adorable cafe "Chocolate Grape." It was fabulous. The desserts were unique and beautifully presented and the wine was great. Very easy to pair a dessert with its appropraiate wine match or just choose the wine of your preference!! They also had breads, meats, and cheeses that also looked delicious. My husband thought the cabernet, lavender, and white chocloate orange, truffles were spectactular. I highly recommend this place. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. You should all put this place in your list to try!!!

I would not reccomend this place, we have eaten at many places, and we kind of consider ourselves avid restaurant people but we figured we would try this place out for the first time the other night, and it was not good, food was fair nothing to speak about, service was a joke, are entre or petit plate they call it beef was over cooked, we will not go back there

I went to chocolate grape for dinner this past Saturday night. I was immediatly welcomed by a staff member who explained the pairing menu exquisitly. The decor is very warm and inviting..the wine list was fabulous and the food was amazing. I am excited for their patio to open so I can enjoy their many wines and chocolates outside in the summer air.

I happend to walk by the other day and kind of popped my head into the window of Chocolate Grape, the interior looks really nice, lots of colors and hues, give you this warm feeling, I ended up meeting 2 of the Owners/Chef, Nice couple, he was working on some truffles for there menu, anyway to make a long story short, i was able to try a truffle, that was out of this world, better than i have had at voseges, and coco rouge, needless to say is way over priced (coco-rouge)

Why would anyone open another chocolate place just down the street from the greatest one ever Coco Rouge, what makes a neighborhood cool is having a little of everything on the street not just opening lamer versions of what is already there, we need a bookstore or something else on the street that we don't have already and they are smack in between two wine bars that have been on the street for years, vintage and enoteca roma, great another bar on Division how original why don't you put a salon in the back too there isn't enough of those already either.
