I lived in the Uptown neighborhood as a kid (Since 1971); Gigio's was there then. I moved back (1990's)after being married & we got a job there delivering pizza for x-tra money. They gave employee's 2 slices of free pizza a night - we couldn't wait everynight for the free pizza...I moved away for 14 yrs & I'm back! I can't wait for it now! You shouldn't either! That's how good Gigio Pizza is...it's making my mouth watery now just thinking about it! You'll never believe how good it is unless you try it!
Place definitely needs remodeling; but I'm sure it's only because their so busy making the best pizza on this earth! You'll see!

We've been in uptown for 15 years and have turned tons of friends on to Gigio's. Its a scary storefront, but the pizza is world class new york style!

I grew up on Gigios in the 80's then moved to California where needles to say one will NEVER find the same quality
