First of all I need to state that Bill may be having day or life.

Mahoney's has all the typical bar offerings as well as other options for those with a more upscale taste. I have been coming to Mahoney's for months now as I live in the area as well. They have all the games with all the sports packages you could ever want. And they have enough TV's spread around that you can watch the game you want where you want it. I find the service to be friendly and efficient. Me and my girlfriends always have a great time at Mahoney's. This is a bar who you can be yourself at and no douche bags will bother you. The bar tenders will take care of you and make sure this doesn't happen.. Thanks Sergio. :)

I would also note that the Sunday Bloody Mary bar is amazing.

    A place worth checking out.

Mahoney's basically took everything right about the previous bar that occupied the space (ever hear of "Players") and threw it out in exchange for...a waste of space that will be closed in 2 years. Yes, the "geniuses" that run such fine establishments as Mothers etc. turned a well oiled sports bar into a cheap attempt at an upscale grill. But the food is now laughable, service is still as bad as it ever was, and worse of all, nobody goes there to watch the games anymore. And who wants to have a corn beef sandwich or ahi tuna in place of some beer and "greasy" wings while watching the Bears??? Who? Apparently nobody, go there on a sunday during football season. This bar went from awesome to awful, and I live in the neighborhood and now have no great place to watch the game. It really is too bad.

I've been to this place a few times now for both lunch and dinner, I live in the neighborhood. My boyfriend likes to watch the game and I can bring my computer and do some work or surf the web, the whole place is wireless, very cool! Food's good too, not your typical fried bar food, good salads, fresh sandwiches (lots of choices, try the turkey Reuben) great seafood gumbo if you have a craving. The service was attentive and we've never had to wait too long for our food. Oh, and it's non-smoking, you won't leave smelling like an ashtray :)
