Very disappointed in the restaurant. Tried to order a glass of chianti and was told they only had cabernet open. We asked for menus and were told we had to go read the chalkboard at the other end of the restaurant. Asked to buy a bottle of wine and we were told that they only had 1 left and couldn't sell us a bottle. Ran out of the beer one person was drinking after one glass and it was only 8 pm on a Saturday night. Had to ask for them to bring us bread to have with our salads and then the waiter didn't bring olive oil--it's an Italian restaurant! Will never return.

Excellent food and great drinks. I've been to Corosh to have a fun night out and have also always enjoyed their Sunday brunch. Definitely a must go to in Chicago

I have eat at the Corosh many times, since I moved to Chicago in 1994 and have always enjoyed their daily specials. There is always something new to try, so that is a big reason why I have stayed a customer for so long.
I just noticed recently that on there website they have pictures of their great food. So if you don't beleive me that they have good food, then just look at some of the pictures on their at Corosh.com
And as for toe-nails in your food(Dean), well you sound like someone with a great imagation, who is an EX-employee of the Corosh.

food was below average, the drinks were good and the atmosphere is cool. the problem we had was a hair in pasta the first time and what appeared to be a toe nail the second time the dish returned. what can i say except order bottled beer and bottled water and forget about the rest of the menu and drinks.
