Don't go to the evilOlive if you are concerned with your safety!I was there last night and was physically assaulted by a crackhead. The management was not interested in calling the cops or making me feel safe. They made me feel "bothersome" and downplayed the situation for the police. Six other women who came in after me also commented that they were verbally harrassed by the same crackhead and yet nothing was done to ensure our safety. When i left the bar the crackhead was sitting outside the bar like nothing happened--apparently her comfort was more important than the safety of evilOlive customers.

This bar is very cute and fun. I do have a few complaints though - for all the "reviews" that talk about the cool drink list and stuffed olives - NONE of that is even available yet! I had a group of about 20 people there Saturday night and we were all very disappointed to be told that we were missing out on some of the very things that drew me to the bar. The DJ that came on around 11 was one of the worst I've ever heard - couldn't match beats from track to track hardly at all.
On the other hand, rumbling tummies and same old cocktails aside, the bar wasn't too loud and had plenty of space, both for sitting and standing. I'll definitely go back, but before inviting others I'll be checking to make sure the bars signature items are available first.
