I'm glad I read the reviews. I had planned to take my wife to Alhambra Palace with some friends for her 30th birthday, but after reading a few of the reviews, I changed my mind. A bad server can ruin the entire experience.

What a mess!!! We went there for their New Years Eve 5 course meal for $150 a couple, and it was awful. There was no service since there was no waitress for almost 30 min at one point. The food was both, under cooked and burnt at the same time. The belly dancer looked like Michael Jackson, just with boobs. I will never go there again, and hope no one else does. Save your money and go to Phil and Lous.

We had our company party there last night. Service was bumpy, but not a hinderance for us having a good time. The food was good. We ordered 3 hookahs and moved to the bar area. We had fun blowing smoke out our nose, made smoke rings, did the sprinkler and tried to blow smoke into a square. (drum roll please) Then the manager and our waitress came over and accused us of smoking "something". He was quite certain that his years of restaurant experience taught him the hookah smell carried with it some illicit drugs. There was no apology, just the certainty that our smoke rings were from something other than the hookahs. How could this man's nose be wrong? Needless to say, this killed our buzz for the evening. Diner beware! This establishment is not accustomed to serving a mainstream croud.

I have been to this place twice and with out a doubt it is amazing inside, however when we first arrived and made reservations we had to wait over an hour to get a table because we arrived about 15 minutes late. Understandable considering we were late but to wait over an hour i think is rediculous! On another note I was pleasently surprised at the bill we ordered drinks and appetizers, and i have never paid so little at a restaurant/lounge before! The service is so-so could be better, the belly dancer is amazing and the singer is not too bad, although if you stay past 1:30, 2, then the music starts getting pretty darn boring and the crowd starts clearing out. which not to mention there is absolutley no room to dance unless you booty bump the rest of the night away with a complete stranger. Other wise the place is nice but nothing to really rant and rave about except for the decor.

Great place! Not only that the interior is amazing, but they have the best Martini I've ever had in my life, and food is great! I sat at the bar, and since I was unsure of what I wanted to drink, the bartender, suggested the Alhambra Martini. To die for! I was reading through the reviews, and really people cannot appreciate good taste anymore. Since when you have to go to a restaurant and be given so much food that you have to take it hope?!? The most expensive and famous restaurants they serve you a decent sized platter, enough to feed one person as it should be. Somebody complained about the Kebob. They give you enough meat, and not only the taste is authentic ME, but the meat is cooked to perfection. I went on different occasions, and last time I tried the spicy grilled shrimp app and the trout. The shrimp is a bit spicy, but I expected it to be since it clearly said that in the description. The trout is cooked in a "fillo" and comes with cous cous. Awesome!!! Its is definately the place to go... Good Luck! Beautiful Place!

The place is gorgeous. I, as interior design graduate, agree with it. Haven't tried the food. Regarding the service, cant really complain, because I know half of the staff, including managers (who sits us always without a problem) and 2 doctor Rustums (The owners). I think the problem is that the big shots with money come there, and get the service and attention, while the ordinary clients, especially those of not middle eastern decend, are overlooked.

Great decor but horrible service!! We waited an hour and half for our appetizers. Only 2 of us out of a group of 4 people received entrees. We waited another hour for the lamb dish and decided to cancel the order and leave. We talked with 2 managers and really did not get anywhere. Save your money and eat somewhere else!!
