Great Place..My hats off to the manager Tony, He made it all worth it. Excellent Place, Bartenders all good looking (Females)service was so-so But it was Slammed with people (what do u expect. Over-all Great Place to party away from downtown..

Worst. Club. Ever.
First of all, the doorman was awful. Rude and lording his position of doorman over everyone for no apparent reason. I went to ask him politely if people on the list had to wait. He just barked in response "Get in line!" When we got up to the door, a couple strolled up and said they were there for a private party - He let them in immediately. I called him on it (in a voice that was calm and even), saying "Hey, when we said we were here for a party you said "Get in line". He went off saying "My opinion is the only one that matters around here” and several other things.
To add insult upon injury, the bartender was trying to flip bottles, but he spilled it on himself, patrons, the bar, and the barback. Glad to know my $40 (for open bar) was going to the floor. When he finally served the first drink it was all soda even though friends got straight alcohol. He wasn’t looking when he poured the drinks. After tipping all night his service got worse and worse.

Extremely overcrowded (5/16) Hotttt! Uncomfortable. Was only able to get one drink, because it took me an hour to get to the bar. Love a nice crowd, but the management jeopardized everybody's life that was in there by not shutting it down when it reached capacity. Never again!!!!

That Frank is a moron! My girls and I had a blast. Service was fast and the server was great! With the third open bar there is no reason to leave with your drink, it's free stupid! Being latina I thought the music was wonderful, they even droped a little bachata. Staff seemed so freindly and the security staff were all hot! Keep doing your thing Vain because me and my girls are coming back! Poor Frank probably never got a number that night! LOL

Place is horrible. Sure the decor and state of art sound system is great. Nice overall set-up. Service wise the host was a total idiot. Never approached us after we purchased a bottle. We had to wait for our check over a half hour and then he gives us attitude about it. If you are a smoker good luck. You can't leave and come back in. You have to get in line and repay for the cover, rediculous. If you have the wristband drink special, guess what you can't go down from the 3rd floor to the lower levels with you drink. Now the washroom is on the second floor so guess what girls, if you have to go peepee, better drink your drink cuz god forbid you leave it on your table and ooopss some perve puts in a roofie. Very unorganized club must I mention on St. Patty's day. Only plus were the dancers and the irish lepricon dancing with them. Place is a dump for service.

I had two cars of friends going Vain when the valet guy took my middle eastern friends car he charged them $10 bucks but when he took my Hispanic friends car he charged them $15. Same with cover, first batch of friends who were middle eastern got in for free my Hispanic friends had to pay to get in which was just ridiculous.

I had a great time there. So far this is the best nightclub I have been to in chicago. I wouldn't mind going back but also remember to valet. I had a bad experience parking my car on the street.

Vain is the best club I've been to in Chicago, finally a club doing it right!!! Sexy girls, packed house, awsome bar tenders and the Vain drink is baller. I LOVED IT ALL!!!!!

If you're into having a wild time with good music and a nice dance floor, this isn't the place for you. If you like trendy and "pretentiousness", this is your place.
