A friend of mine called to book a party here and without the owner knowing who she was he asked, "Is your party gonna be predominantly African American?" Why would he ask such a question? In my opinion, it is reason enough to never patronize this venue ever again. It is 2009 and to discriminate openly without even knowing who you are speaking to over the phone is unacceptable. It actually comes off as being a bit racist by implying that you don't want an African American crowd, by singling out a race of people. It is reason enough not to patronize this place.
On top of that, when having an event at the location, the place was dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned, there were cups and wet napkins left on the floor and in the DJ booth from previous nights. People hosting the party ended up cleaning, because the staff and owner had not, to make the place presentable for guests coming to the event. There was even broken glass that had not been swept up. Ridiculous. Not only do they not appreciate patrons, they don't value business, aesthetic or cleanliness. There is no way someone paying to have an event should be cleaning the restroom, DJ booth and lounge area for a place they don't own or work at.
As much as one would try to like this place, on many levels it was a complete disappointment.

It's actually doing good now. Can't complain about the drinks and they have decent music for free sometimes upstairs.

This was a complete waste of time. The drinks may be cheap but they are aweful. I will never go back.

My girl friends and I stopped by a few weeks ago. We love this spot! The drink prices are a steal, along with some good food. It's a great place to pre-party, or stay late and hang with some laid-back people. Plus what better place to go after work and enjoy a drink and a meal.
