This is the most authentic southern Italian kitchen I know in the Chicago area. Having lived in Napoli for a couple of years, I appreciate the authentic pasta dishes that my husband and I split (they are copious!), especially anything with a tomato sauce because they make it right. The frutti di mare are always excellent, as an appetizer or over pasta. The fish specials are fresh and well prepared, as are the regular menu chicken dishes (we don't eat red meat). We like the fruit plate which is also an authentic ending to a southern Italian meal, followed by an excellent cup of espresso. The waiters are friendly and attentive.
