Bonsoiree is a terrific place. Chefs Shin and Luke really marry flavors well. The food, the atmosphere and the service are top notch. We had the 5 course dinner and loved every one. They do charge $5 corkage but not is not a problem. You should bring some serious wines to match the wonderful flavors. It was our best meal in Chicago and one of our best meals period.

This place opened last fall and I've been wanting to try the place ever since. We finally went on one of their price fixe nights and was very impressed by their food and atmosphere. The food is amazing....we got 3 course for the very reasonable price of $20. My asparagus-osyter mushroom with vanilla guava vinagarette first course was amazing, as well as the moonfish and dessert of pineapple ice cream. The dining room is very cute...all candlelit with the tables comfortably spread apart. Their outdoor patio is adorable. I feel that I should savor this place while it's still new since it will soon be constantly busy once people find out about it. The only thing negative I can say about this place is that some of the waitstaff might need to take a workshop on professionalism. Our waiter, a tall skinny guy sporting a wedding ring, shamelessly flirted with my girlfriend throughout the whole dinner. Even though we were both women, it was obvious that we were on a date. The last place someone should expect for their girlfried to get hit on is by the waitstaff of a restaurant that they are eating at.

Bonsoiree offers a quaint but elegant atmosphere with excellent food and service. The place is small enough that you get the attention you need - when my wife and were there the three chefs came out to greet us. Parking is not a problem. Food is delicious and a reasonable price- especially on Fridays for the Prix Fixe deal. The dessert selection was small for a guy who loves sweets but the home-made banana bread pudding is a great end to a meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Bonsoiree is great! This is the way food should be - interesting, innovative, tasty. I plan a winter of take-out soups and in-house dining. It's said that if you have you have a great product customers will beat a path to your door - well this product is definitely the best and you should all start beating right now!!!
