| Velva is like a combination of Ween, Kraftwerk and the Beastie Boys. They're really fun to watch live. They play songs in a variety of sub-genres of modern electronic music ranging from doo wop to 60's Pop to Hip-Hop to Funk. They play live with circuit bent instruments and custom built atari synth guitars that look like something from lost in space and they really jam out with them. They show up dressed in a Flash Gordan meets Star Wars looking costumes and throw candy into the crowd. Just one of those bands you need to see and hear to believe.
