| The University Wind Ensemble is an intimate collection of 45-50 members, which allows its players to act as both soloists and ensemble members. The ensemble performs literature written for band and symphonic wind ensemble, as well as selected orchestral transcriptions, offering three Sunday afternoon concerts each season. Special projects in the past have included Nancy Galbraith's Mass with the University Chorus, and a children's concert with "Instrumental Petting Zoo." The group performs three concerts annually.
