| Four-piece Chicago band on a mission to revive the spirit of soul-funk instrumental music of the late '60s and early '70s. Inspired by Bookert T and the MG's, The Meters, and the JB's, they also incorporate jazz, blues, psychedelic, and middle-eastern influences, with up-tempo jams, trance-like grooves, mixed with action movie themes. Formed in the summer of 1999, Thrillhouse Collective's lineup features Nick Michalopoulos on organ, Nina Talia on drums, Nick Jaffe on guitar, and Bryon Giddens-White on bass.
