The Windy City SpiritualaireS

Here’s an intimate look into the music ministry of The Windy City SpiritualaireS of Chicago, Illinois who are also known simply as “The SpiritualaireS”. This group features the talents of Pastor Jonathan Tucker, Pastor Anthony Spencer, Minister Tyrone Lindsey, and Bobby Webster who have been performing and sharing their ministry coast to coast together since 1998. Newer members include their Road Manager and Fan Club President - Minister Keith Boyd, and Band Members - Minister Steve Johnson, Paul Mixon and Cedric Montgomery. They are recognized as one of “The Nation's New-Wave Top Five Selling Quartets” by The Bible of The Gospel Music Industry - The Gospel Music Industry Round-Up 2002 and Publisher - Lisa Collins of Billboard Magazine.

With God’s divine blessings and because of their overall commercial success, The Windy City SpiritualaireS have been able to maintain a very busy touring schedule. They have traveled and they still continue to travel across the country to minister in song at many churches, major venues and prestigious events.

Their latest recording “Live In-Bama” that was released in November of 2001 is currently one of the top selling and it is one of most played projects in the country. Special Guest Artists appearing on the project include Willie Clayton who shares his talents on “Prove It” with Pastor Jonathan Tucker and on “I’m Gonna Run On” with Minister Tyrone Lindsey, Evangelist Chequita Lumzy of the Lumzy Sisters joins Pastor Tucker on “God Will Take Care of You”, and Elder Teddy Cross formerly of Willie Neal Johnson’s Gospel Keynotes trades the lead chores with Pastor Anthony Spencer on their lead radio single “One More Day”. Mary McLaurine-Glover, Big Joe Patton, and Minister George W. Stewart of The American Gospel Quartet Convention also Guest Star on the project and other stand-out cuts include “Sit At His Feet and Be Blessed” and a live version of the group’s first big hit “Change In My Life”. Pastor Tucker, Pastor Spencer, and Minister Lindsey are credited with writing and arranging all but two of the songs on “Live In-Bama”.

In 1998, this group also released a project as “The SpiritualaireS” that received rave reviews entitled “Change In My Life”. It is a wonderful collection of eight hits also written and arranged by Pastor Tucker, Pastor Spencer, and Minister Lindsey including the very popular title track along with “Make A Change” featuring Special Guest - Elder Teddy Cross, “Pay Attention”, “What A Time”, and “Your Blessin’ Is Coming”. This project earned them many National awards, nominations, and accolades. Harvey Watkins, Jr. of The Canton Spirituals, also endorsed it.
