| The Fishdogs have come from all sorts of different backgrounds, musical families, and cultural varieties! Shannon Richardson(Vocals/Guitars), Chris McGowan(Bass/Back up Vocals), Marcus Watland(Drums/Percussion)having played together for 2years, they have definatly found their momemtum in Music! Part serious poet, part goof-ball, part redneck, comes together in each of their songs mixing a fusion of Americana, Rock, Alternative, Funk, Blues, and a touch of Reggae. The Fishdogs collectively have played in such venues as: House of Blues, Metro, Double Door, Elbo Room, Cubby Bear, Lakeshore Theater, Schubas, Wise Fools Pub, Abbey Pub, Lilly's Bar, Silvie's Lounge, Penny Road Pub, GoJangle's, and Mariot West.
With influences ranging from Incubus, Jack Johnson, Rusted Root, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sepultara, Bob Marley, Jack Daniels, Blue Moon, and Heineken? The Fishdogs continue to be an "Americana Band"-Southside, Fearless Radio. And as such we continue to write, and play for the audience that loves us! We also are constantly improving on our live show, taking different elements of the night and incorperating them into the experience!
