| In the mid-90s, Jeremiah Wallis and Ryan Duffy formed Paper Airplane Pilots out of their mutual love of loud, melodic rock and mutual hatred of flowers and chocolate. This DIY Chicago quartet plays catchy melodic garage pop with a heaping helping of rock that has drawn comparisons to The Beatles, Guided by Voices, Superchunk, Pavement, Love, Wilco, The Beach Boys and Material Issue. The band self-produced and released its Welcome to the Drunk Tank EP in 2001 and is currently releasing its debut LP, The History of Flying.
The Paper Airplane Pilots are:
Jeremiah Wallis - vocals, guitar; Ryan Duffy - guitar, vocals; Jim Kompare - bass, vocals & Tom Collier - drums For more information, visit their website: http://www.paperairplanepilots.com
