| Bottled on Chicago's northwest side since 2002, PALA (Pah-lah) is a hearty newcomer that promises to join the best vintages. Born of roots in soul, funk, jazz and some of the more progressive rock, this peppery band has developed a unique character amid a dense market of cheap knock-offs. PALA combines various textures in a way that will stimulate both mind and soul. You'll want to dance, sway and groove aas they weave a sonic mood.
