| Punk band from the south side of Chicago, Blue Island to be exact, came together in 1996. They signed to Madonna's record label Maverick and released their debut album "Wasting Time" in 2000, followed up by "Destination Unknown" in 2001. The bands had a helping hand from other punk rock bands such as Social Distortion and Good Charlotte by touring or making guest appearences on albums with Mest. Their final album is "Photographs" (2005) with two singles "Take Me Away" and "Kiss Me, Kill Me". In 2006, frontman Tony Lovato released a statement via their Myspace profile announcing the break up of the band. Lovato simply stated that after "...10 years and 5 records..." he's seen and done it all and it was time to move on from the band.
