| Veteran south-side vocalist gets the gritty/sweet boundary just about right, although his up-tempo and dance tunes sometimes lose direction... His new recording on Wolf Records, which features The Teardrops & Little Mac Simmons, is called My Little Girl. He's scheduled to perform on the Crossroads Stage at the 1999 Chicago Blues Festival.
