High-energ jazz saxophonist Jesse Scinto leads the old-time rock'n'roll/blues/jazz Dignitaries, with whom he has released Rock & Roll Dream (2001, Marquis). New City's James Porter says "...Jesse Scinto and the Dignitaries...hit the nail on the head, a full-on backbeat homage to all the horn blowers of the era..." Scinto has performed with many of Chicago's blues greats, including Sam Lay (1998 Grammy nominee). In 1997, he performed at first lady Hillary Clinton's 50th birthday party at the Chicago Cultural Center.
