| Five Chicago musicians with diverse musical backgrounds formed HOTEL45 in January of 2005. The band members spent majority of 2005 on writing and recording new material.
One sold-out show at Cubby Bear (down town) and two unannounced shows at Elbow room and Pilsen Art Festival were the only live performances the band could find the time for in 2005. In contrast, 10 shows are being planned for 2006, with the first two being; Feb 4th at The Mix (Chicago), and April 13th at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre (Arlington Heights).
