| Chicago-based jazz pianist -- son of Lilian Terry, perhaps Europe's foremost jazz vocalist -- has performed with Lionel Hampton, Freddy Hubbard, Ira Sullivan, Von Freeman, Roy Hargrove, Richie Cole, Bobby Shew, Barbara Morrison, and Gabe Baltazar, among others. Crosara is an instructor of Piano Improviational Technique in the Applied Music Program at Purdue University. His most recent CD, Colors (which Jazz Review called one of the best CDs released during 1999) was released by local label Southport Records, and features Von Freeman, Dave Marr, Rusty Jones, Dean Taba, Noel Okimoto, David Choy, and Souren Baronian.
