The band's new album, Falstaff II (Homestead Records) may be hard to find, since the label just folded... Members include ex-Shrimpboat Ian Schneller (vocals, guitars, bagpipes, piccolo trumpet), Tom Jasek (drums, glockenspiel, steel pans) who played with Quaker Youth Ensemble, and session man Mitch Straeffer (vocals, bass, keyboards).
Schneller was a sculpture student at the Art Institute of Chicago, and is well-known for his hand-crafted guitars. Jasek has his own jazz quartet and has composed music for the theater. Straeffer is pursuing an advanced degree in musical composition, and is Falstaff's main arranger.
