| Easy Tiger as the acoustic/electric duo of Russell Baylin and Dan Wean, are redefining and revolutionizing Rock music. With an unbridled energy and passion they create a wall of sound so solid and all encompassing, people are often shocked that there are only two of them on stage and not a huge band. Regularly playing the Elbo Room, Beat Kitchen, Subterranean, Uncommon Ground, etc., they have established themselves as one of the most exciting live acts around.
In the process of making what was to become their debut album, "Lonely in My Members Only", they were joined by Paul Knegten (Punsapaya), and Brian Barbier (Light FM). The album, produced by Sean O’Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack), was recorded at Gravity Studios and Rosebud Recordings in Chicago, mixed at Smart Studios in Madison, and mastered by Dominic Maita (Loudon Wainwright III) at Sterling Sound in New York.
Easy Tiger is greasy rock folk with a country jazz complex. A mesh t-shirt of vocal harmonies float as wings upon the back of lush instrumentation that pays homage to the past while blazing trails of what could be; With each song driven by lyrical one-room in the back of the house reflections.
