| A native of Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, has been collecting and playing records since 1995. He tends to keep himself under the radar and behind the scenes for the most part. But as of late his dj skills and profound taste for deep AfroLatinJazzHouse has lead to a 4-year Wednesday night residency at Wicker Park’s Subterranean Lounge, as well as playing most of the major nightclub venues in the city. “I prefer to play the smaller venues, the lounge types, it gives me a chance to try new things musically, and make a connection with people who are there for the music as opposed to being seen.” David is constantly searching for fresh ideas and integrating cultural fusions of live instrumentation with DJ sets. His music ranges from downtempo brazilian bossa, to NuJazz and AfroLatin House.
