| In the past thirty years or so, Bromberg has played with Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead (whom he reportedly fired as his backup band for not being tight enough), Jerry Jeff Walker and countless other mainstays in rock, folk, bluegrass, country and blues history. He made a national name for himself in all of these genres when he got signed to Columbia in the 1970s. Bromberg, a resident of Hyde Park, doesn't play around town much anymore, but if you can catch him, you're in for a rare treat.
