| Scanlan is an avant-garde guitarist, violinist and cornetist who played in the Vandermark Quartet and with Jim Baker in Scanbake. Frenetic and intense, though sometimes a bit messy, he is also an original member of the long-standing improvisatory music trio Liof Munimula.
