The Grammy-winning Chicago ensemble founded by composer/pianist Easley Blackwood and Chicago Symphony Orchestra clarinetist John Bruce Yeh is an avid champion of new works and younger composers. The core quintet includes Yeh, bassoon William Buchman, horn Daniel Gingrich, and double bass Joseph Guastafeste.

Among their recordings is Facade and L'histoire du soldat, which won the group a Grammy Award for "Best New Classical Artist."
