| Formed out of the remains of the predominantly white male Evergreen Media Corp. (whose Steve Dahl, Jonathan Brandmeier, Kevin Matthews, and Mancow Muller remain some of Chicago's biggest radio names), this large media conglomerate owns several Chicago radio stations, controlling almost 25% of the city's listenership. Stations include: WUBT 103.5 "The Beat" (funk), WNUA-FM 95.5 (smooth jazz), WVAZ-FM 102.7 (adult urban contemporary), WLIT-FM 93.9 (light favorites), WGCI-FM 107.5 (urban contemporary), and WGCI-AM 1390 (gospel).
