Bible Of The Devil

With drunken precision, Chicago's Bible of the Devil conjure brutal, tuneful, riff-laden garage metal anthems evoking images of warfare, urban debauchery, and conquest. Deploying a moniker intended as a euphemism for rock n’ roll itself, Bible of the Devil embody it to the fullest, having toured extensively throughout the United States for the past five years, released two full-length albums: 2002’s "Firewater At My Command" (Genuflect Records), and 2004’s "Tight Empire" (Dead Teenager Records), in addition to a split 7” EP with fellow Chicagoans The Last Vegas (2004, Scarey Records). With a twin-guitar onslaught weaving melodic, harmonized leads in union with pummeling riff attacks, the propulsive rhythms and infectious vocal stylings of Bible of the Devil add up to a veritable rock n’ roll juggernaut.

In 2005, BOTD has plans to finish and release their third full-length: "Brutality, Majesty, Eternity", and embark on tours encompassing both the United States and mainland Europe. With a punishing output both live and recorded, Bible of the Devil is truly a band for those that prefer their metal sans the prefix "nu".
