| Formed in 1989 by graduates of the Northwestern University School of Music, the Juilliard School, and the Eastman School of Music, the Amadeus Consort performs chamber music -- especially the words of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Joseph Haydn (but also ranging from the baroque to Gerschwin) -- for both public and private engagements (including weddings, religious services, and corporate engagements). Principal players include Ken Mine (concertmaster), Carmen Llop-Kassinger (principal 2nd violin), Rober Fisher (co-principal viola), Jeffrey Johnson (co-principal viola), Michael Fitzpatrick (principal cello), and John Tuck (principal bass). Members also perform regularly with such other prestigious ensembles as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Sinfonietta, Chicago String Ensemble, Chicago Chamber Orchestra, Ravinia Festival Orchestra, the Lake Forest Symphony, Ars Viva, Klang, and Present Music.
