There's no need to trek downtown for organic produce. Renamed in 2006 to reflect its focus on sustainable, locally-grown products, this weekly farmers' market is stocked with fruits, herbs and veggies, compliments of Kings Hill Farms, Prospera Farms and Ellis Farms. You'll also find jams, flowers, organic cheeses, fresh eggs, fair-trade spices, honey and breads from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Local artisans sell their wares as well. Look for the weekly organic "market special," featuring whatever is freshest and most abundant that week.
