What to expect: This three-day celebration of traditional music at Mandel Hall on the University of Chicago campus includes a range of performers, from Irish folk to Virginia bluegrass to Chicago blues. There will also be free activities on Saturday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) at Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th - these include instrument workshops, dances, vendors and more.
