Cost: $20-$25 ($15-$20 for seniors, $10 for students; workshops and dances are free)

What to expect: This three-day celebration of traditional music at Mandel Hall on the University of Chicago campus includes a range of performers, from Cajun dance to Irish folk to West Side Chicago blues, as well as workshops (Fiddle, Banjo, Piano) and dances (Yiddish, Mexican Zapateado). Volunteer and you'll get in free to the concerts! There will also be free stage performances in Hutch Commons on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 5 p.m..
