Why to go: Five entertainment stages with more than 40 local and national music acts. There's also a block-long Kids Carnival that is sure to please.
Additional info: The Kids Carnival takes place on Altgeld Street between Lincoln and Halsted (noon-6 p.m.). It includes a giant slide, petting zoo, face painting and more. There is also a "Virgin" Wine Garden, sponsored by the Virgin family of wines, at Lill Street and Lincoln featuring both tastings and sales. Five stages of entertainment run music continuously. This event benefits the Wrightwood Neighbors Association.
