Editorial Review of Pitchfork Music Festival

Date: July 17-19, 2009

Cost: $35 for single-day tickets, $60 for a Saturday/Sunday 2-day pass, $75 for a three-day pass

What to expect: Two stages of top-notch independent music, plus the usual festival fare of beers and greasy food, in Chicago's lovely Union Park (check out nearby restaurants and bars).
