Additional info: The parade runs north on Halsted from Belmont to Cornelia before returning south to the main stage at Halsted and Roscoe. Free registration for the costume contest for children, pets, adults and groups begins at 4 p.m. at Spin (800 W. Belmont). Winners of the costume contest for kids and pets will be announced immediately after the parade, followed later by adult and group contest winners. There will be over $5,000 in costume contest cash and prizes, including airline tickets for two. There will also be post-parade musical entertainment.
