What to expect: A day of mole tastings at El Zocalo Plaza in Pilsen. Local restaurants from the area will compete for awards in two categories (Best Mole, People's Choice).

Additional info: Participating restaurants include returning champions Fogata Village and Nuevo Leon, DeColores, FIG Catering, Lalo's on Maxwell, Mundial Cocina Mestiza, Real Tenochtitlan and Zocalo. Judges include Tsi-tsi-ki Félix of Telemundo Chicago, Chandra Ram (Plate), Heather Sperling (Tasting Table) and Rodrigo Esponda (Mexican Tourism Board). There will also be beer and michelada vendors, an outdoor market featuring Pilsen businesses and live entertainment including wrestlers, mariachis and the Pro Arts Circus Group.
