Why to go: The display will be produced by the award-winning Melrose Pyrotechnics, first place winners of the Montreal International Fireworks Competition in 2006.
Additional info: The Grant Park Orchestra, along with conductor Christopher Bell, kicks things off with a concert at the Petrillo Music Shell at 8 p.m. There will then be a soundtrack provided by WTMX (109.1 FM) to go along with the show.
