What to expect: Screenings of films about African-American issues, or those made by African-Americans, which go above and beyond the stereotypical depictions found in many mainstream movies. Noted director, actor and producer, Bill Duke, will be a featured guest.
Venues include the Chicago Military Academy (3519 S. Giles), Harold Washington Cultural Center (4701 S. King), Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies (700 E. Oakwood) and Dunbar Park (300 E. 31st).
