Since 2005 Parisian producer Wax Tailor has steadily built upon a solid foundation of hip-hop inspired beats. He's taken the glory days of trip-hop and combined it with elements of funk, soul and electronica; giving way to an ambitious hybrid sound. At times he's spread himself a bit thin, but he seems to have gotten back on track with his latest album Dusty Rainbow From the Dark. It's another highlight in his career, and one that'll shine through at the Bottom Lounge.
