The fourth annual Psych Fest brings together yet another stellar lineup of forward thinking bands, a roster full of burgeoning artists who are looking to redefine the parameters of psychedelic rock. For opening night, the Hideout will host some of the genres finest including Energy Gown, Plastic Crime Wave Syndicate, Dark Fog, Variety Lights, and headliner Mako Sica. Day two features Bitchin’ Bajas, Underground Symposium, Miracle Condition, the Velcro Lewis Group, and Chicago’s own Outer Minds, who will be headlining the night. Psych Fest is becoming one of the most coveted festivals around, and this one looks to keep that trend going. (J. Min)
