With the release of his last album Greater Than One, Detroit-born crooner Dwele proved that all you need to make a great album is a focused vision and a solid voice. The album is a no frills exploration of love and loss, and it stands in direct contrast to some of the more gaudy albums released last year. It’s a simple sound with a great approach. Dwele’s performance at the Shrine will be in promotion of the album, and earl arrival is recommended. (J. Min)
