It’s hard not to compare Action Bronson to Ghostface. His delivery and cadence mirrors the legend and his narratives, much like Ghost’s, go places that most lyricists don’t dare. But there’s something about Bronson’s throwback style that is immediately infectious, and for the most part unheralded. He's got lyrical dexterity, and because his rhymes are laced with humor it all goes down as smooth as one of the seasoned chef’s intricate dishes. His performance at Reggie’s will likely be in promotion of his two forthcoming albums, Mr. Wonderful and Saab Stories. Johnny Polygon and the Soul Summit DJs open. (J. Min)
