Of the seemingly endless brigade of Wu-Tang members and affiliates, Raekwon is one of the select few who tours on a regular basis. In the past couple years the master chef has made appearances at Paid Dues, Rock The Bells and Pitchfork, with a few smaller gigs on the side. His busy schedule has all been in celebration of his long awaited sequel, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. 2 (2009), which took nearly 15 years to complete. You may be thinking that an entire year of celebrating is a little excessive, but keep in mind the album has somehow lived up to all the hype. Opening for Rae will be a bevy of artists, including Chicago’s own Mikkey Halstead. (J. Min)
