Meddling with zydeco, blues and some African-sourced rhythms to the point of ska, Milwaukee's Paul Cebar calls it Tomorrow's Sound, or in backing band terms, simply the Modern Sounds. But the man's got too much soul and funk in him to ever be part of tomorrow, crooning about stages like a hall of Motown gold 45s, when not trying to attain jam band status. (Gavin Paul)
