Forging together a kaleidoscope of sounds, from esoteric field recordings to his own unique polyrhythmic instrumentation, Martin Dosh (known primarily by his stage name, Dosh) is an artist that defies conventional categorization. His rhythms are surgically precise amalgamations of hip-hop, soul, psychedelic/prog rock and electronica, and to see it all unfold live is a remarkable departure from traditional beatmaking. Dosh has released five albums under the boundary pushing hip-hop label Anticon, and his performance at Millennium Park for the Edible Audible Picnic series will be in celebration of his latest album Tommy (also released under Anticon).
