Seeing as how this summer is packed to the brim with great music festivals, it seems only fitting that the Taste of Chicago follow suit with its own musical tidal wave. Opening day one of the Taste will be a veritable who's who of hip-hop and R&B legends, including Salt 'n’ Pepa, Bell Biv Devoe, Rob Base and Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh. Collectively this lineup has influenced hip-hop in ways that are still emulated today, and to see them all grace the stage on one night is rare treat worth the time and trouble of going to Taste. (J.
