Known since the late '70s for their downtempo approach to blues, gumbo-ing porch-swing harmonies and pocket drumming, the Holmes Brothers can pull off everything from a church hall to a street festival (Joan Osborne even hired them as her backing band for a tour with Bob Dylan).
