Some sadness for this longtime host of The Jam, as his wife, Dorothy, just passed away. Only more reason to go and support the Delmark stalwart who took a two-decade hiatus from his career to raise his family, mounting a comeback in the late '90s with Leaving Here Walking, which won accolades for its explosive John Lee Hooker tightness and the Sunday-mass soul retained from his choirboy youth.
