Otherwise known as the female tease on Peter, Bjorn and John's whistle-smash, "Young Folks," fellow Swede Victoria Bergman shows her spacious side on her solo project, Taken By Trees. Bergman's Chan Marshall-esque voice shares tracks with bare-bones glockenspiel and piano pokes, evoking a creaky Nordic forest. She likes to warm it up with some strings, though. Another Swede, El Perro Del Mar, goes about her business much more digitally – think The Cure when happy. Her new album, Love Is Not Pop, should get more cred than it does. (Gavin Paul)
